The following are other symptoms that may occur (according to the National Institutes of Health):

  1. Fullness faster than usual when eating.
  2. Abdominal bloating.
  3. Heartburn.
  4. Nausea, which could be followed by vomiting.

Some of these symptoms (particularly for abdominal pain) may also point to a condition called spastic colon.

If the inflammation gets worse, this may also cause severe symptoms such as weight loss (loss of appetite), feeling of weakness, chest pain, and even bloody vomiting  or blood found in the stools.

However, don’t get a conclusion on your own. If you experience one or some of these warning signs and symptoms, see a doctor for accurate diagnosis!
