Some studies are continuously going to find the clearly answer of that question.

Keep safe!

In general, the use of cinnamon oil should be around 0.05 to 0.2 gram per day.  And the safe dosage of ground cinnamon bark is not more than 4 gram per day – it is commonly recommended around 1 to 4 g per day.

You need to know that cinnamon also contains few amounts of sodium.

Therefore again, it’s very important to take this herb in appropriate dose. Excessive sodium in the bloodstream can increase your systolic and diastolic pressures (two major numbers you will find when your check your BP with a sphygmomanometer).

Furthermore, large dosages of cinnamon can be potential to become toxic which then can be counterproductive to your health. If you are taking some medicines for diabetes or other health conditions, excessive use of this herb may cause bad interaction and increase the side effects of medicines that you are taking.

To keep safe, discuss first with an endocrinologist or your doctor before taking any herb or alternative therapy!
