  1. A half tablespoon of honey.
  2. A half tablespoon of coconut oil.
  3. A half tablespoon of olive oil.
  4. A half ripe avocado.
  5. One egg.
  6. And 1-2 ripe bananas.

In addition, bananas are safe for most people. But there is also a condition called banana allergies or latex-fruit allergy. People with the condition should avoid bananas, including topical application to hair.

Moreover, make sure to completely clean any hair mask ingredients you use. There should be no any debris of banana or other ingredients left on the scalp – otherwise you’re probably at risk of having irritation or your dandruff symptoms get worse.

Something else for ‘natural hair growth’ stimulations

Things labeled by ‘natural hair growth’ are overwhelming out there. But unfortunately, it’s usually not easy to find one that really works to your case.

To keep safe, choose and try some based on what sciences say on them. This is important so you’re likely to find ones that will even out in the end.

Lemon

Lemon oil might provide positive effects on encouraging hair growth and promoting a healthy scalp [15]. The same goes for fresh lemon juice (if you’re not a fan of lemon oil).

Dilute essential lemon oil into carrier oil like coconut oil for hair mask. Or use fresh lemon juice (you can combine it with bananas and honey), apply it to the scalp — leave for a while before you shampoo.

Rosemary oil

Among essential oils available in the marketplace, rosemary oil always takes attention in cosmetic industry. It’s not only helpful in providing pain relief, but also popular for hair growth stimulation and preventing hair loss.

One study suggests that it works on helping new hair growth stimulation and approved for treating androgenic alopecia, a common hair loss problem affecting men and women [16].

How to use? Mix it first into carrier oil. Then add a few drops into your conditioner or shampoo on a daily basis.

Ginseng

This Korean traditional herb contains a powerful active compound called ginsenosides.

It’s probably not common for using ginseng for hair growth stimulation. There is little, if any, rigorous study into the effectiveness of ginseng for hair loss problem. But one review shows that ginsenosides might have an effect on stimulating growth of hair follicles [17].

However ginseng could be too strong for some people. To reduce the risk of its side effects, always use it as directed (keep safe).

Fish oil

Fish oil is high in omega fatty acids and also filled with other essential nutrients and proteins. These properties are required to improve healthy hair growth from the inside.

Along with antioxidants, taking supplements containing omega fatty acids may help improve diameter and density of hairs in the scalp [18]. Omega fatty acids also play a role to drive cells of the body (including cells of your hair) work properly.
